जीवन देवता कि साधना आराधना-२

मानव जीवन एक संपदा के रूप में हम सबको मिला है । शारीरिक, मानसिक एवं आत्मिक हर क्षेत्र में ऐसी-ऐसी अद्भुत क्षमताएँ छिपी पड़ी हैं कि सामान्य बुद्धि से उनकी कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती । यदि उन्हें विकसित करने की विद्या अपनाई जा सके तथा सदुपयोग की दृष्टि पाई जा सके तो जीवन में लौकिक एवं पारलौकिक संपदाओं एवं विभूतियों के ढेर लग सकते हैं।

परमपूज्य गुरुदेव लिखते हैं कि मनुष्य को मानवोचित ही नहीं, देवोपम जीवन जी सकने योग्य साधन प्राप्त होते हुए भी, वह पशुतुल्य दीन-हीन जीवन इसलिए जीता है कि वह जीवन को परिपूर्ण, सर्वांगपूर्ण बनाने के मूल तथ्यों पर न तो ध्यान देता है और न उनका अभ्यास करता है । जीवन को सही ढंग से जीने की कला जानना तथा कलात्मक ढंग से जीवन जीना ही जीवन जीने की कला कहलाती है व आध्यात्मिक वास्तविक एवं व्यावहारिक स्वरूप यही है । अपने को श्रेष्ठतम लक्ष्य तक पहुँचाने के लिए सद्गुणों एवं सतवृत्तियों के विकास का जो अभ्यास किया जाता है, उसी को जीवन-साधना कहते हैं। उसी को जीवनरूपी देवता की साधना भी कह सकते हैं ।

जीवन-साधना नकद धर्म है । इसके प्रतिफल को प्राप्त करने के लिए किसी को लंबे समय की प्रतीक्षा नहीं करनी पड़ती । "इस हाथ दे-उस हाथ ले" का नकद सौदा इस मार्ग पर चलते हुए हर कदम पर फलित होता रहता है । जीवन- साधना यदि तथ्यपूर्ण, तर्कसंगत और विवेकपूर्ण स्तर पर की गई हो तो उसका प्रतिफल दो रूपों में हाथोहाथ मिलता चला जाता है । एक संचित पशु-प्रवृत्तियों से पीछा छूटता है, उनका अभ्यास छूट जाता है एवं दूसरा लाभ यह होता है कि नर-पशु से देवमानव बनने के लिए जो प्रगति करनी चाहिए उसकी व्यवस्था सही रूप से बन पड़ती है । स्वयं को अनुभव होने लगता है कि व्यक्तित्व निरंतर उच्चस्तरीय बन रहा है ।

वेशभूषा शालीन ही रखिए

हमारा स्वास्थ्य जिस प्रकार आहार पर निर्भर है, उसी प्रकारवस्त्रों-पोशाकों का भी उस पर काफी प्रभाव पड़ता है पर लोगों नेइस समय इस दृष्टिकोण को बिल्कुल भुला रखा है । वे पोशाक का उद्देश्य लज्जा निवारण या शान-शौक मात्र समझते हैं । अब तोधीरे-धीरे यह मानव-जीवन का ऐसा अविच्छिन्न अंग बन गई है कि हमवस्त्रहीन मनुष्य की कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकते । अधिकांश लोग तोइसे इतना ज्यादा महत्व देते हैं और ऐसा अनिवार्य समझते हैं मानो मनुष्य वस्त्रों सहित ही पैदा हुआ है और उनके बिना उसका अस्तित्वही नहीं रह सकता ।

पर सच तो यह है कि मनुष्य नंगा ही पैदा हुआ है और हजारों वर्ष तक यह उसी दशा में प्रकृति माता की गोद में निवास कर चुकाहै । उस समय उसका चमड़ा भी कुछ कड़ा था। बहुत अधिक ठण्डे स्थानों के निवासी चाहे शीत के प्रकोप से बचने के लिए भालू आदि जैसे किसी पशु के चर्म का उपयोग भले ही कर लेते हों, अन्यथा उस युगमें सभी मनुष्य दिगम्बर अवस्था में ही जीवन यापन करते थे । फिर जैसे-जैसे रहन-सहन के परिवर्तन से शारीरिक अवस्था में अन्तर पड़ता गया और लिंग-भेद (सैक्स) सम्बन्धी मनोवृत्तियाँ वृद्धि पाती गयीं, मनुष्य लँगोटी, कटि-वस्त्र आदि पहनने लग गये । जब जीवन-निर्वाह के साधन बढ़ गये और अनेक लोग अपेक्षाकृत आलस्य का जीवन व्यतीत करने लगे तो ठण्डे देशों में उनको देह कीरक्षा के लिए किसी प्रकार के वस्त्र पहिनने की आवश्यकता जान पड़नेलगी । धीरे-धीरे यह प्रवृत्ति बढ़ती गई और आज पोशाक ने सजावट और शौक का ही नहीं, मान-मर्यादा का रूप भी ग्रहण कर लिया है । वस्त्रों से मनुष्य के छोटे बड़े गरीब-अमीर होने का पता लगता है ।
